PURPOSE:To ensure the prevention of sagging or breakage of journal paper by setting the variable speed of a pulse motor for journal paper transport based on the speed of a DC motor for card transport as a reference and making the speeds of both motor coincide with each other. CONSTITUTION:CPU measures the peripheral speed of an imprinting roller 29 based on an output from a sensor 39 which detects the original position of the imprinting roller 29, and sets the speed of a pulse motor 23 during the next transaction after the conversion of said peripheral speed in terms of the speed of the pulse motor 23. Then CPU controls the transport speed of journal paper 3 and that of card so that these speeds coincide with each other. Subsequently, the speed of the pulse motor 23 for journal paper transport is variably set using the speed of a DC motor 35 for card transport as a reference, regardless of the variation of the speed due to a varying load. Thus the speeds of both motors 35, 23 are allowed to coincide, and it is ensured to prevent the sagging or breakage of the journal paper 3 under a low-cost constitution without controlling the speed of the DC motor 35. |
