PURPOSE:To maintain uniformly stable high moisture state is good condition by disposing a partition plate between first and second evaporators, vertically laminating them to be contained, and forcibly melting the frost of the other evaporator by an electric heater corresponding thereto during cooling operation of one evaporator. CONSTITUTION:First and second evaporators 12, 13 are contained to be vertically stacked through a partition plate 11 made of a metal plate at the downstream side of a chilled gas circulating fan 10. The evaporators 12, 13 are so controlled as to periodically repeat a cooling operation. That is, when one evaporator 12 or 13 is operated to cool, the other evaporator 13 or 12 stops cooling,the stopping evaporator 13 or 12 remove frost and dew-condensed droplets adhered to the evaporators 12, 13 by cooling operation before stopping. In order to positively remove it, electric heaters 14, 15 are mounted at the upstream and face of the evaporators 12, 13. Thus, humidity in commodity storage chamber can be wholly maintained at uniform high moisture state. |
