<p>PURPOSE:To enable the joining of a polyvinyl chloride branch pipe to a concrete main pipe without causing water leakage by applying an adhesive to the surface of a joining part of the branch pipe, scattering and fixing silica sand onto the adhesive, applying another adhesive onto the sand, installing a stainless steel net on the another adhesive, and simultaneously applying a waterproof sealant to the front part of the surface of the joining part. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive 1 exclusively used for bonding a polyvinyl chloride pipe is applied to the whole surface 13 of a joining part 10 of a polyvinyl chloride branch pipe with a brush; before curing the adhesive 1, silica sand 2 is scattered uniformly on the fixed to the adhesive 1, which is then cured; on the sand is applied an adhesive 3 which is used usually for bonding successively poured old and new concretes and shows an adhesive effect even 14 days after the application; on the surface of the adhesive 3, a stainless steel net 7 is installed by binding with a copper wire and simultaneously a waterproof sealant 6 is applied around the front part of the surface; the joining part 10 surface-treated as above is inserted into a hole 5 installed at a concrete main pipe 4 and fixed; and around the joining part 10, mortar 8 is poured and set to thereby integrally join the two pipes.</p> |
