PURPOSE: To reduce noise when a parking brake is applied/released by providing a resinous coating layer which integrally covers the non-locking surface of a pole member, the inner circumferential surface of a hole and the abutting surface against a release lever of a lever section via both side surfaces of the pole member. CONSTITUTION: All of a sector member 19, a pole member 20 and a release lever 23 are made of metal. A non-locking surface 20a1 of the pole member 20, the inner circumferential surface of a hole through which a shaft 21 is penetrated and a surface abutting against an engaging section 23b of the release lever 23 for a lever section 20b, are coated with a resinous coating layer 27. The non-locking surface 20a1 of a pawl 20a is brought into contact with a non-locking surfaces 19a1 of teeth 19a by way of the coating layer 27. The inner circumferential surface of the hole of the pole member 20 is also brought into contact with the shaft 21 by way of the coating layer 27. Furthermore, the lever section 20b of the pole member 20 is brought into contact with the engaging section 23b of the release lever 23 by way of the coating layer 27 too. |
