PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice generator which is capable of amplifying the voices of the sentences to be generated and is operated simply by lining up the sentences in a notebook type collection of conversations which translates, for example, Japanese to English in such a manner English is lined up in, for example, the upper columns and Japanese in the lower columns, stating the sentences on both of double-spread pages and having the sentences of the right page or the sentences of the left page selected and the English voices generated. SOLUTION: This notebook type translated voice generator is formed into a notebook form and selects the sentences from the page selected by menu, and generates the voices. The sentences of the same content are stated in combination on both of the double-spread pages, for example, English in the upper columns and Japanese in the lower columns. Voice selection switches 5 which allow the selection of the voices of the respective sentences of the right pages and the left pages are arranged to correspond to the respective sentences.
