<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the electrophotographic toner and a developer composition capable of enhancing blocking resistance, charge stability, and low temperature fixability, extremely reducing dependence on temperature and humidity, even high or low temperature and humidity, enhancing transparence, and forming a flat and smooth surface to be fixed. SOLUTION: This toner comprises at least a binder resin and a colorant and this binder resin is composed essentially of a thermoplastic resin of a linear polyester, and it is obtained by using, at the time of polymerization, polyoxypropylene-modified bisphenol A containing a >=90 mol.% propyleneoxide-2.0 mol-adduct, and/or polyoxyethylene-modified bisphenol A containing a >=88 mol.% ethyleneoxide-2.0 mol-adduct in an amount of >=20 mol.% of the total alcohols. The developer composition is obtained by allowing a magnetic carrier to carry the toner.</p> |
