PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent characters from becoming unclear or blurred by forcing an inner cotton whose amount applied and cross section are almost uniform in the axial direction into an enclosure with plural tapered ribs in the axial direction on the inner cylinder face and forming the inner cotton in such a manner that the density of the inner cotton is thick on one of the sides in the axial direction and coarse on the other side and further connecting a pen point to the dense inner cotton. SOLUTION: An inner cotton 2 is pressed by ribs 13 to be deformed into a taper shape when the inner cotton 2 is forced into the inner cylinder part 11 of an enclosure 1 from the rear end part A of the enclosure 1, and consequently the fiber density of the inner cotton 2 on the pen point 3 side is higher than the fiber density on the tail plug 4 side. The pen point 3 is molded, like a bar, of a polyester fiber bundle or an acrylic fiber bundle so that the porosity is appropriate. Further the bar tip protrudes from the pen point part 12 of the enclosure 1 by an appropriate size required for writing. The inner cotton 2 deformed into the taper shape is of a higher fiber density on the pen point 3 side compared to the fiber density on the tail plug 4 side. Thus capillarity works intensively toward the pen point 3 so that a smooth and comfortable writing touch is ensured. |
