PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a scalp and hair treatment composition having excellent hair-tonic effect, falling-off preventing effect, dandruff and itchiness preventing effect on scalp and safety by including oleyldimethylamine oxide, isostearyldimethylamine oxide and a testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor. SOLUTION: The objective composition contains (A) oleyldimethylamine oxide of formula I and/or isostearyldimethylamine oxide of formula II and (B) a testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor preferably selected from Uncaria gambir, Taxus cuspidata, Artemisia capillaris, Foeniculum vulgare, Malva sylvestris var. sylvestris, Rosa multiflora, Polygala tenuifolia, Prunella vulgaris, Polygonum multiflorum, Ageratum conyzoides, Valeriana fauriei, Paullinia cupana, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Catalpa ovata, Calendula officinalis, etc. The amounts of the components A and B in the composition are preferably 0.0001-20 wt.% and 0.001-5 wt.%, respectively. |
