PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area designing device for a mobile communication system with which communication quality can be evaluated at points uniformly placed at an arbitrary interval without depending on the regional distribution of traffic density. SOLUTION: The area designing device for a mobile communication system is provided with a means to place a plurality of mobile stations during communication according to traffic distribution information, a means to determine a base station to which each mobile station makes radio connection, and a means to calculate the sending power of desired wave signal to each mobile station to which the base station made radio connection. The area designing device for a mobile communication system also has a means to select a plurality of evaluation points set previously one by one in the state where each base station transmits the desired wave signal, and a means to calculate the received power of the desired wave signal received from the base station to which the mobile station for evaluation located at each selected evaluation point makes radio connection, and the received power of the interference wave signal received from the base station and other base stations to which the mobile station for evaluation makes the radio connection. The communication quality of the evaluation point is evaluated based on the received power of the calculated desired wave signal and the received power of the interference wave signal. |
