PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding device or a document feeding device capable of preventing a paper (document) loaded on a paper feeding base from being folded and providing a space below the paper feeding base. SOLUTION: This document feeding device 10 has a document feeding device main body 12 and a tray part 14 supported turnably on the document feeding device main body 12 through an arm 50. The tray part 14 is composed of a base 34 and the paper feeding base 36 elevating and lowering with respect to the base 34.
