Use of a direct dye (A) for dyeing of human keratinous fibers by dry thermal transfer. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process of dyeing of human keratinous matters comprising application of (A) contained in a dry composition, on or near the keratinous matters and application of a heat source inducing thermal transfer of (A) on the surface and/or interior of the keratinous matters; and (2) a composition (II) comprising (A) and a film forming polymer.
