<p>PURPOSE:To preserve perishable foods for a long period of time by packing perishable foods in a state not contact with water in a heat insulating container, hermetically closing the container, further putting the container in a heat insulating container provided with ice, sealing and then cooling the whole containers to the freezing point. CONSTITUTION:Perishable foods such as sea bream 3a or lobster 3b are placed and packed on crosspieces 4 set in a first heat insulating container 6 of closed structure made of a heat insulating material such as foamed polystyrene, the container is capped with a cover 9 and sealed with a gum tape 10, etc. Then the first heat insulating container 6 packed with the perishable foods is put in a second heat insulating container 1 made of a heat insulating material such as foamed polystyrene provided with an ice layer 7 at the bottom while making a given interval in the circumference, the second heat insulating container is capped with a cover 2 and sealed with a gum tape 5, etc. Then, the whole containers cooled to the freezing point so that perishable foods such as fishes and shellfishes and vegetables can be preserved for a long period of time without damaging freshness and taste.</p> |
