A device for realizing augmented reality effectively by using a marker and the marker thereof are provided to facilitate use and operation, and realize various augmented realities quickly and correctly by simply implementing numerous sets of markers with combination of a plurality of sets of indication designs for a plurality of sectioned regions. A main image processor(42) stores a database(44) for image information meant by a marker, which is combined in various kinds of types by a transparent film inserted into a pocket type frame(400). A camera(41) captures real space including the marker and transmits captured image information to the main image processor. The main image processor matches a real image with a virtual image based on a reference position and direction presented by the marker, and transmits the matched image to a display device(43).
