PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and safe antiallergic agent, antihistaminic agent, anticomplement activator, hyaluronidase activity inhibitor, arachidonic acid metabolic activity inhibitor, contact dermatitis inhibitor, and further, a skin preparation for external use and bathing agent. SOLUTION: This agent is obtained as an extract from one or more plants selected from among Isodon japonicus Hara, Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews, Perilla frutescens Britton var, acuta Kudo and Arunica montana Linne with water, ethanol, 1,3-butylene glycol, propylene glycol or a mixture of two or more of these extractants, and used as an antiallergic agent, antihistaminic agent, anticomplement activator, hyaluronidase activity inhibitor, arachidonic acid metabolic activity inhibitor and contact dermatitis inhibitor, and furthermore used as a skin preparation for external use and bathing agent, with efficacy in preventing and healing different types of dermatitis, including allergic, atopic and contact dermatitis, or eczema, skin chapping, skin itching, dry skin, etc., and also has high safety. |
