Buckets 3 are mounted between a pair of endless driven belts 4 by cross-bars 1 comprising a series of parallel, spaced steel rods 2 embedded in rubber. The cross-bars 1 are vulcanized to the belts 4 and may be vulcanized or bolted to mounting brackets 7 7 on the buckets. In an alternative embodiment (Fig. 3b, not shown) the rods 6 diverge in the direction of the belts 4. |
