A system of briding switches, independently opened by the impact fuse circuit or by the time fuse circuit, across the igniter of the detonator or alternately fusible links in each independent circuit which blow after a predetermined current/time product are used to prevent premature detonation and also to eliminate the risk of impact fusing after a miss. The system is applied to fuses continuing both an impact (DA) fuse circuit and an adjustable time fuse circuit either in SAGW or low level anti-aircraft artillery shell ammunition.
