The electrical system of an automobile includes a control unit 1 comprising a plurality of relays 2-6 and switches 10, 11 by means of which the relays in the control unit may be energized to select the required services in the system, the services then being operated by means of a manually controlled switch 9. Thus if the automobile is travelling on a highway the horn or flashing head lights may be selected for operation depending on the time of day or night whilst when the automobile is travelling within city limits during these times a muted horn or dipped headlights can be selected. If desired the switch 11 may be a photo-cell. |
