Composite weldable housing for holding door hinge - has trapped fastening screw and plastics cover preventing entry of mortar

The housing for holding a hinge part especially on a steel door frame is attached by welding. This ready to weld housing has a clamping plate together with fastening screw and also a plastics housing for sealing the ready to weld housing against entry of mortar. The clamping plate (9) has a fastening screw (12) which can be rotated but not detached from the plate, is enclosed by the first shell (7) of the plastics housing (5). The second shell (6) which faces the frame (2) overlaps the first shell all round. The screw is rotated by a spanner pushed into the enclosed housing by breaking the thin cover section (21). The closing plate is formed integrally in the housing and held on it by a tear off web.
