Each of the brackets (1, 1') fastened on a wall has a mouth (2) in which there is held a continuous box-shaped carrying tube (3) which is secured by means of screws (4). Support elements (5) for an awning-canvas shaft (6) are arranged at the ends of the carrying tube (3). Two clamping bushes (7) fixedly clamped on the carrying tube (3) each have a bearing surface (8) for rotatably receiving arm bearings (9), on the bores (10) of which the articulation arms of the awning are fastened. An adjusting tube (12) mounted, with its ends, on the carrying tube (3) can be driven via an eyelet (27), provided for the suspension of an actuating rod, and a gear mechanism (13) arranged on the central bracket (1'). Clamping rings (11) fixedly clamped on the adjusting tube (12) are coupled to the arm bearings (9) in a positively locking manner. The adjusting tube (12) is connected to an output flange (14) of the gear mechanism (13) via a clamping ring (11'). An arrangement of this type is particularly stable and permits mutual adjustment of the two arm bearings (9). <IMAGE> |
