FITTING OF GAS FILTER FOR STORAGE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To perform the fitting of gas filter simply and exactly without breaking the mesh of the gas filter by pressing into and fixing by melting to a filter holder a ceramic filter heated to a temperature higher than the melting point of a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:A heated gas filter 1 of ceramics is pressed into the cell cover 2 of polypropylene or the filter holder 4 provided to the upper cover 3 of the cover 2 in order to form the fused-bond portion 5. Thus, the fitting of gas filter can be performed exactly by making all the contacts between the gas filter 1 and the filter holder 4 in the form of the fused-bond potion 5 without causing imbalance in the melting of the filter holder 4 because the thermal energy possessed by the gas filter 1 and also required for forming the fused-bond portion 5 can be constantly obtained by heating the gas filter 1 to a fixed temperature.
