PURPOSE:To offer rapid still picture information supply service by storing still picture information, high in frequency that subscribers make use of it, in a group of memory units high in response speed. CONSTITUTION:Once assignment information for still picture information is inputted from a subscriber to terminal 7, memory unit group selection controller 8 recognizes on the basis of this assignment information which memory unit group 1 or 2 is stored with the picture and then reads a needed screen by controlling corresponding read controller 3 or 4. Then, it is stored in one of buffer memories 51-5N corresponding to the circuit of a subscriber making a request and then outputted to the corresponding circuit. Therefore, still picture information that many subscribers request can intensively be outputted in a short response time. |
