PURPOSE:The froth from waste water of a fish-processing factory is heat treated to produce fish meal which is satisfactorily used as a feed. CONSTITUTION:Fine flocculus in the waste water from a fish meat processing factory, especially from a factory in which fish meat is ground, are treated with a flocculant to collect them on the water surface or precipitate them to the bottom. The resultant froth is heated under stirring to dryness as a hot air of about 500 deg.C is sent, thus the flocculation in the froth is completely pydrolyzed and the froth is finely crushed. |
