PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently a polygonal mirror having high accuracy by injecting an adhesive agent into the spacing formed of the plural constituting pieces for a core member and the constituting pieces of a glass member and allowing the adhesive agent to cure and to shrink. CONSTITUTION:A mirror 2 is of a hexagonal shape, and a core member 4 which is the center of the mirror consists of six constituting members 8a-8f of the same shape centering at a circular hole 6. A glass member 10 for forming the reflection surfaces of the mirror consists of six constituting pieces 12a-12f of the same shape. The members 4, 10 are manufactured separately and assembled in metallic molds 14, and spacings 16 are provided continuously. The molds 14 are provided with plural suction and discharge holes 18a-18f. An adhesive agent such as an epoxy resin or the like is packed in the molds 14 and is cured from the central part. The adhesive agent is further packed into the cavity made by the curing, from the center whereby the mirror of a hexagonal prism is manufactured. |
