The present invention relates to a section for panels of a suspended ceiling of buildings, particularly of offices. This section comprises a first section form 5 which is U-shaped and is capable of forming a finishing element for the lower edge of the said panels 4 and a second section form 6 having sufficient stiffness for supporting the panels in a plane configuration, the said forms being connected to each other along a median bend line 9 intended to engage in a groove 2 provided along the longitudinal edge of each of the panels. <IMAGE>
