Device for the penetration of a wall 1 by a single-pole electrical conductor 2 including at least one insulation constituted by a sheath of a deformable insulator 5 covered by a lead sheath 6, the said conductor preserving its insulation and its lead sheath as it penetrates into the said wall, and its end 7 being bare and permitting an electrical connection as it exits from the said wall, characterised in that the said lead sheath 6 is stripped over a certain length starting from the end 7 of the conductor, the deformable insulator 5 being stripped over a shorter length, in that a cylindrical penetration body 8, including an axial bore, is mounted on the said conductor, the said body 8 penetrating into the said wall 1, sealing between the said body and the said wall being achieved by a first seal 9, the bore of the said body comprising a conical wall portion clad with a layer of a low-melting point metal solidly attached by mutual melting to the end of the said lead sheath which is pre-expanded against the said wall by means of a first expander member 10 mounted on the conductor and including a conical nose 11 sliding between the said deformable insulator 5 and the said lead sheath 6, the said solid attachment providing the sealing between the conductor and the said cylindrical penetration body. <IMAGE>
