The object of the invention is to design a circuit for generating a chrominance subcarrier from a colour burst that can be produced as an integrated circuit and that does not require the regulated colour carrier reinsertion oscillator (11) to be equalized. The output of a A/D converter (2) that acts as a phase comparator is connected to a filter capacitor (Cf) through a digital PLL-filter (6) and a sigma-delta-digital/analog converter (8). The invention is particularly suitable for chroma-IC of television receivers or videorecorders.
