<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a tape printer capable of printing an inputted character on a desired printing line and printing many characters on a plurality of printing lines. CONSTITUTION:When printing data is inputted with the selection of 'an upper printing line' and 'a lower printing line' after the operation of a bouble line printing key, the inputted data is indicated together with data ' ' or '- '. By operating a printing key, data succeeding to the data ' ' is stored in a first rearrangement memory (S70), and data succeeding to the data '- ' is stored in a second rearrangement memory ($76). The number of the upper data and that of the lower data are made coincident with each other by inserting space data (S78-S81). After that, based on the data stored in the first and second rearrangement memories, characters are printed on two lines.</p> |
