<p>PURPOSE: To reduce oil loss caused by exhausting gas by communicating an evacuating line with an oil sump in a blower in which a driving motor and the oil sump and the like are arranged in a casing beneath a perpendicularly arranged rotor shaft, and the evacuating line is arranged on a casing wall. CONSTITUTION: A turbo-radial blower 1 has a bearing casing 3 accommodating a motor 13 for rotating a blower rotor 11. An oil sump 21 is defined beneath a closed casing 3 by a flange-shaped cover 17 covered by the end portion of the casing 3. In the oil sump 21, an oil pump 22 is arranged in the region of a free end of a shaft 12 so as to feed oil to bearings 14, 15. An evacuating line 31 is provided for preventing gas including oil steam from entering the region of the blower rotor 11 through a shaft guide 19. In this case, in order to reduce the loss of oil through the evacuating line 31, an outlet portion 34 of the evacuating line 31 is directly connected to the oil sump 21 by a passage 37 provided with a filter 38.</p> |
