摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To prevent the difference in level from being formed at an intake port when the thick portion of an intake manifold made of elastic material is installed onto a cylinder head via a gasket in regard to an installation structure for quite a new intake manifold. CONSTITUTION:A first knock pin 38 and a second knock pin 44 are planted on the flange face 28 of an intake port for a cylinder head 10. The first knock pin 38 is coupled in a knock pin hole 42 formed on the flange face 24 of an intake manifold 14 via a gasket 26, so that the intake manifold 14 is thereby positioned for the cylinder head. The second knock pin 44 is projected out of the flange face 28 of the intake port entrance of the cylinder head 10 by the thickness of the gasket 26, and its upper end face is brought into contact with the flange face 24 of the intake manifold 14 when it is fastened with a bolt 36, so that fastening by sizing and positioning for the gasket 26 can thereby be processed.</p>
