PURPOSE:To provide the titled powder having improved segregation of the powder, blocking of active point and dispersibility of powder, by exposing a powder to a plasma in the presence of specific straight-chain and cyclic organosiloxanes. CONSTITUTION:The objective powder can be produced by exposing a powder (preferably talc, kaolin, silica, etc.) to preferably low-temperature plasma in the presence of one or more compounds selected from a straight-chain organosiloxane of formula I (R1 is CH3 or C2H5; R2 is H, CH3, C2H5, or phenyl, provided that none of Si atom has >=2 H atoms; m is 1-250; n is 3-250) and a cyclic organosiloxane of formula II. The low-temperature plasma irradiation is carried out preferably by the low-frequency or high-frequency corona discharge or glow discharge, in vacuum or in N2, O2, H2, Ar, He or air. |
