PURPOSE:To provide a method of producing a biaxially oriented pipe or tube with a thick wall and made of a crystalline thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:In a method of producing a biaxially oriented pipe or tube, a thick-walled tubular extruded product A made of an extruded crystalline thermoplastic resin is quenched and then heated. Thereafter, an inside mandrel 10 having a diameter at least larger than the inner diameter of the tubular extruded product A is caused to pass through the inside of the tubular extruded product A, and said product A is drawn out. |
