PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of current collection caused by carrier capable of storing/releasing lithium ions used in a negative electrode in a coin-shaped battery. SOLUTION: A coin-shaped nonaqueous solvent secondary battery comprises a negative electrode container 1 of metal also acting as a negative electrode terminal, a negative electrode 2, a separator 3, a positive electrode 4, and a positive electrode container 6 also acting as a positive electrode terminal, and carrier capable of storing/releasing lithium is used in the negative electrode 2 in it. The inside of the negative electrode container 1 is coated with copper, nickel, or alloy of these to take out a current between the electrode and the negative electrode container without loss, reduce internal resistance, and improve battery characteristics. The coating is 1-60 μm thick in the case of copper, and 0.5-60 μm in thick in the case of nickel, favorably. |
