AUTOMATIC PARKING LOT CHARGING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle to enter/leave a parking lot almost without stopping and to automatically settle parking charges. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a dedicated short range communication(DSRC) antenna 4 installed in the parking lot, a writable IC card 9 on which personal identification information is previously at least recorded, a parking lot processor 5 for calculating parking time from the date/ time of vehicle entering and leaving and transmitting this parking charge information to the antenna and a shop processor 6 having a settling means for settling the parking charges by demanding the parking charges from this parking lot processor 5 to a financial institution 14 and automatically transferring them.
