PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hood opening/closing mechanism which can widely open a hood by a simple constitution without heightening a head guard, in an industrial vehicle. SOLUTION: This hood opening/closing mechanism in this invention is characterized by mounting a battery hood 26 turnably around a first turn center 32 in a rear side and mounting a driving seat 34 turnably around a second turn center 42, placed in a rear side thereof to be arranged in a position in the forward from the first turn center, in the battery hood. In this constitution, by turning the driving seat rearward on the battery hood, the longest distance from the turn center of the hood to the driving seat can be shortened. In this way, contact of the driving seat with a ceiling part of a head guard 18 can be avoided.
