PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively suppress trembling vibration generated in a tool body during boring even in heavy cutting wherein cutting allowance by a cutting edge is increased. SOLUTION: This boring cutter is provided with a damper 20 wherein a weight member 26 formed of a material with higher specific gravity than material forming the tool body 10 is stored in an internal space 25 of a casing 21, and the weight member 26 is supported movably in the radial direction of the tool body 10 within the internal space 25 by an O-ring 28 or the like which is an elastic member interposed between the outer peripheral surface 26C of the weight member 26 and the inner peripheral surface 25C of the internal space 25.
