PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noises to enable accurately detecting bioelectric potential by forming a connection where one end of a conductor for electrodes is electrically connected to the inside of the electrode, and covering the periphery of the connection with a resin. SOLUTION: The catheter main body 6 of an electrode catheter has a first tube 8 on the distal end side and a second tube connected to the proximal end of the first tube 8. A most-distal-end electrode 12 is mounted on the end of the distal-end side first tube 8, and annular external-wall electrodes 14 are mounted on the proximal end side of the most distal end 12 at predetermined intervals along the direction of an axis. The most distal end electrode 12 is used as a cauterizing electrode, and the external-wall electrodes 14 are used for measuring the voltage within the heart. One end of a conductor 34 for the electrodes is electrically connected to the inside of the projecting part of the most distal end electrode 12 to serve as a connection 36, whose periphery is covered with a covering resin 38. Also, one end of the conductor 34 for the electrodes is electrically connected to the inside of the external-wall electrode 14 to form a connection 36, whose periphery is covered with the covering resin 38. |
