A method for naturally purifying or refining polluted water is provided to discharge only clean water through a drain of a purifying case, by making water pass through inclined partitions so as to remove respective types of external particles contained in the water. A purifying case(10) has a bottom portion inclined downwardly. Partitions(20) are installed at the same interval within the purifying case, wherein each of the partitions has an outlet at a lower portion. A drain(11) is formed at the lowest side of the purifying case. A control plate(30) is positioned at the front side of the drain, wherein the control plate controls the opening degree of the drain. An operative cylinder(41) is fixed to the purifying case, and a piston rod(42) of the operative cylinder is connected to control plate. A water tank(50) with a discharge tube(61) is positioned below the drain. A water supply tube(62) is positioned at an upper portion of the purifying case oppositely to the drain. Filter nets are detachably positioned in spaces defined between an inner wall of the purifying case and a nearby partition or between adjacent partitions. Water is continuously supplied through the water supply tube, and continuously discharged through the drain. Herein, polluted water having a small specific gravity stays in upper portions of the spaces between the inner wall of the purifying case and the nearby partition or between adjacent partitions, and relatively clean water passes through the outlets of the partitions and the drain.
