PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bridging detector capable of surely detecting hopper content bridging with high sensitivity and at a low cost in a hopper device having a hopper capable of storing one or a plurality of kinds of contents, and a takeout device for taking out the hopper contents. SOLUTION: A device for detecting hopper content bridging in the hopper device comprising the hopper capable of storing one or a plurality of kinds of contents, a driving motor, and a takeout part driven by the driving motor to take out hopper contents comprises a current detecting sensor for detecting a driving current value; a takeout control device for comparing the driving current value with a current control value preset at each kind of the hopper content and outputting an alarm signal; and an alarm device outputting an alarm sound or alarm display based on the alarm signal.
