PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveying device capable of reducing abrasion of a sliding surface by bringing it into face contact, and eliminating backlash of the sliding surface easily by adjusting the position of razor bodies even when the sliding surface is abraded. SOLUTION: This workpiece conveying device includes a movable conveying means 11, and a workpiece gripping device 10 attached to the conveying means. The workpiece gripping device consists of a gripping body 15, rectangular sliding holes 21, 22 formed in the gripping body, a pair of sliding members 25, 26 fitted in the sliding holes slidably and having gripping claws 27, 28 respectively in their front ends, an advancing/retracting mechanism advancing/retracting these sliding members in a mutually approximating and separating direction, razor bodies 41, 42 arranged adjustably in their positions in the sliding direction of the sliding members between one side of the sliding hole and one side of the sliding member opposed to this side, and a position adjusting means 47 adjusting the position of the razor bodies.
