PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell of horizontal stripe type which is hard to cause a crack in a part of the outer surface of an intermediate sintered product in the vicinity of an outer edge of an anti-reaction film.SOLUTION: A fuel cell comprises: a support substrate 10; power generation element parts A each having a fuel electrode 20 embedded in a corresponding first concave part 12 formed in a principal face of the support substrate 10; and a seal part for preventing a fuel gas from being mixed with air, which includes interconnectors 30, solid electrolyte films 40 and anti-reaction films 50. In the seal part, second concave parts are formed in portions including regions corresponding to the power generation element parts A in outer surfaces of the solid electrolyte films 40. The anti-reaction film 50 is embedded in the second concave part. Portions corresponding to peripheral edges of the respective interconnectors 30 in side faces of the anti-reaction films 50 are located closer to the centers of the corresponding interconnectors 30 in comparison to portions corresponding to peripheral edges of the respective interconnectors 30 in the side faces of the solid electrolyte films 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
