PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system that can diagnose the connection state of a ground type antenna.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 100 has a ground type antenna 1 in which a signal line 5 is connected to the ground in a DC style, a DC power source Vo connected to some point of the signal line 5 through resistors R1, R2, a voltage detection circuit 6 for detecting the voltage between the connection point C of the resistors R1, R2 and the ground, and a diagnosing circuit 7 for diagnosing the connection state of the antenna 1 based on the voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit 6.
