A back lamp for a side mirror is provided, which permits a driver to see the rear of a car when driving at night. The back lamp(68) is mounted inside a side mirror(16) of a car and descends from the bottom of the side mirror if a driving switch is pressed. If a lamp switch is pressed, the lamp is lightened. Since the lamp main body(20) has a socket therein, the lamp is screwed into the socket. The lamp main body is connected with a connection rod and a flanger(40) of DC solenoid(38) by a rotative bracket and a clamping bracket. The lamp is lightened through A and B terminals and a battery if a lamp switch is turned on while the lamp is turned off by cutting off current if the lamp swtch is turned off. The DC solenoid(38) is formed in such a manner that the back lamp descends by C and D terminals and a battery if a driving switch is turned on while the back lamp ascends inside the side mirror by a feedback spring by cutting off current if the driving switch is turned off.
