PURPOSE:To enable the connection between the body of an apparatus and a flexible duct and/or between a flexible duct and a top to be completed in a simple manner instantly by a method wherein an adapter is attached to a flexible duct and a gas outlet guide, to a gas outlet on the side of the apparatus and the adapter and the gas outlet guide are fitted with each other. CONSTITUTION:In the work of attaching a flexible duct 6 to, for example, a wash dryer 14 by using connection fittings in situ a gas outlet guide 1 is attached to the gas outlet 15. Next a flexible duct 6 is screwed into the flexible duct-receiving hole 10 of an adapter 8 and the flexible duct 6 and the adapter 8 are fixed to each other. Then the insertion part 9 of the adapter 8 is fitted into the adapter-receiving hole 4 of the gas outlet guide 1 and fixed in place by the use of a fixing ring 18 between ring-fixing grooves 5, 9a so as to prevent the two from coming off from each other. This method enables the connection between the body of an apparatus and a flexible duct 6 and/or between a flexible duct 6 and a top to be completed in a simple manner instantly. |
