PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection accident of the heater for the hot hydrostatic pressure press processing caused by drop of iron oxide, by surrounding the outside circumference face of the capsule, where powder to be processed is charged and sealed tight, with the wire gauze and by arranging the capsule in the high- voltage vessel and by subjecting it to the hydrostatic pressure press processing. CONSTITUTION:In the method where powder to be processed is charged and sealed tight in metallic capsule 2 and is subjected to the hot hydrostatic pressure press processing in a high-temperature and high-voltage gas atmosphere, capsule 2 is arranged in the high-voltage vessel under the state where the outside circumference face of capsule 2 where powder to be processed is charged and sealed tight is surrounded with cylindrical wire gauze 1, and the press processing above is performed. Stainless steel is used ordinarily as materials of wire gauze 1, and wire gauze 1 is provided enough meshes to stop the drop of the oxide scale generated on the surface of capsule 1. Thus, the disconnection accident is prevented which is caused by drop and contact of the surface scale layer of capsule 1, which is oxidized due to a high temperature, onto the heater exposed in the processing furnace. |
