<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a liquid spill from occurring, by installing two valve chests to be interconnected to a working passage and also a valve stem whose both sides are projected to the inside of the valve chest in a casing as well as installing a valve body controlling both suction and discharge ports at both these ends. CONSTITUTION:A working passage 44 is formed between the peripheral side of an impeller 40 and the inner wall of a casing 42, while valve chests 46 and 47 are partitioned off by a partition wall 48. A valve body 54 opens or closes a suction port 50 and a discharge port 52 of the valve chest 46, and a valve body 55 opens or closes a suction port 51 and a discharge port 53 of the valve chest 47. With a valve stem 56 moved, the valve body on one side closes the suction port and the valve body on the other opens the suction port. Therefore, a liquid spill to the discharge hole side to be intercepted is preventable.</p> |
