PURPOSE:To enable inferior application to be instantaneously detected, by irradiating slit light toward an adhesive agent from a slit light source while receiving reflected light of the slit light by a TV camera and inputting the received light to a picture processor unit. CONSTITUTION:A slit light source 1, supported in a suitable place toward urethane 6, irradiates slit light 1' toward the urethane 6 immediately after it is applied as an adhesive agent. The irradiated slit light 1' is reflected by the urethane 6 and received as reflective light 1'' by a TV camera 2 similarly supported to the slit light source 1. The received reflective light 1'' is input as a picture signal of reflective slit light 10 to a picture processing unit 3 by the TV camera 2. The picture processing unit 3, in which a picture data previously input by a compared value setting circuit 4 is compared with the input picture signal by the reflective light 1'' of the reflective slit light 10, outputs the picture signal, exceeding a permissible range, as a signal of inferior application to a display/recorder 5.
