PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a patty of a safflower-containing dumpling as a new food, treatable as a health food by efficacy of safflower, supplying a bright coloring of characteristic safflower by heating and cooking and to provide a method for producing the patty of a safflower-containing dumpling, comprising a new process. SOLUTION: Wheat flour, salt and water in proper amount portions are kneaded to give dough 2, which is mixed with 0.1-0.3wt.% of dried safflower petals 23 or a dried safflower material comprising the dried safflower petals 23 and small pieces or powder of dried safflower in the ratio of 1:1 and dried to give a patty 21 of a safflower-containing dumpling so as to color the whole dough 2 in yellow, light purple or pink. |
