<p>The system consists of bars (11A, 11B) which are joined together by half-shells fitted face to face to form junctions (12) with stepped channels for the bar ends. At least one of the channels passes through the two half-shells from one end to the other to allow a bar to pass through it. The half-shells are shaped to form three channels for the bars, two at right angles to one another and the third at an oblique angle to the first two. They are joined together by nuts and bolts or by rivets. The bars are made from a metal or light alloy, e.g. of aluminium and they all have the same rectangular cross-section with a slit along one edge. <IMAGE></p> |
