A multi-purpose cap for sealing and connecting containers, consisting of a body (1) with at least two sealing portions (3a, 3b, ..., 3e, ...) for connecting and sealing at least two containers. In an advantageous embodiment, said multi-purpose cap consists of a cuboid body (1) of which each side (2a, 2b, ..., 2e, ...) is provided with a central blind sealing and connecting recess (3a, 3b, ..., 3e, ...).
