PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the influence of the float of an original on an image and to improve the quality of the processed image by a device body by pressing at least both end sides of the original in the width direction to a contact glass through a carrying belt at a reading processing time on the device body side, in an original carrying device for carrying and stopping the original on the contact glass of an image processor. SOLUTION: One side of a plate-like member 42 extending in the subscanning direction of the original P placed on the contact glass 11 and for pressing the both end sides of the original P in the main scanning direction is supported so that the plate-like member 42 can be rotated, and the plate-like member 42 is retreated with rotation in a direction separated from the contact glass 11 by a solenoid 44 when the carrying belt 23 is driven, meanwhile, when the carrying belt 23 is stopped, that is, in operation of reading, the plate-like member 42 is rotated close to the contact glass 11 by the energizing force of a spring 43 so as to press the both end sides of the original P. |
